🌟 Social and Emotional Learning Focus 🌟

This week, we are focusing on positive thinking and calming strategies! We will learn ways to calm our bodies, manage tricky moments and change unhelpful thoughts into positive ones.

Students who demonstrate positive thinking and use calming strategies may be selected for a special visit with the Principal for the Dunkley Delight treat on Friday!

Our school has been buzzing with reading, creativity and Book Week excitement! 🎉📖

This week we enjoyed:

📚 Our Annual Book Parade – lots of amazing costumes and characters!
🛍️ Book Fair Purchases – students choosing some new favourites to take home!
🎨 Colouring-In Competitions – showcasing our students’ creativity!
✍️ An Author Visit – we welcomed Kirilee Furlong to our school to share her love of storytelling and books.
🎨 An Illustrator Visit – Jenni Goodman joined us at school for an inspiring illustrator workshop!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS! 🚨

Reports are coming in of some exciting new arrivals in the Chill Zone! Students were keen to get their hands on the new toys, including:
🏠 Barbie Dream Mansion
🚐 Barbie Dream Camper
✨ Light-up Beyblade Arena

These new additions have already been a big hit! We have loved seeing our students enjoying the Chill Zone while demonstrating our PBL expectations by playing safely, sharing and taking turns, showing kindness to others, and looking after our new equipment.
