Mama Moose is a Scandinavian/Nordic inspired boutique child care centre that provide a warm homely and welcoming atmosphere where children can learn, grow and feel at home. We will celebrate Swedish and Scandinavian holidays such as Midsummer, Lucia, Easter and Christmas as well as Austr
alian holidays. The themes are based on animals living in the Nordic forest such as Moose, Bear and Jarv and the centre itself is very nature orientated with wooden toys, wooden floorboards, pictures and a giant forest inspired garden. We remain closed on all public holidays and for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which focuses on fee play where children can discover their passions and interests and explore their surroundings, as well as guided learning activities. We focus a lot on music and movement with dancing and singing and plenty of art and creativity. We do have large natural gardens with lots of birds and butterflies where children can explore and play in nature under guidance. We provide healthy meals every day and place importance on good nutrition; morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. If your child has any allergies or dietary requirements we will also cater from them. We want you and your child to feel that this is your second home and will do our best to make you feel as welcome and comfortable as possible.
