FAQ: How does Kip McGrath stay up to date?
Our Kip programmes have been successfully used for 50 years, and we have always responded to student needs and changing evidence from researchers about the best ways to support students in becoming skilled learners. When we create and update our programmes, we take note of changes in curriculum direction made by standards authorities such as ACARA. We use scientific evidence from leading researchers to guide any changes we make in the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of our programmes. As well as Australian research, we refer to international evidence to ensure our literacy and numeracy programmes are effective in supporting both students and teachers.

FAQ: What subjects does Kip McGrath Mount Gravatt teach?
We offer both English and maths lessons. Many students will begin with one subject, and sometimes switch to or add another subject after they realise how helpful a weekly lesson can be.

FAQ: How will I know that my child is progressing?
All your child's work is visible to you on our Parent Portal. The Kip McGrath study program is progressive. Your child starts at a foundational level and will work their way up. Each week their lesson plan contains new activities that build on the knowledge they learnt in the previous week. Activities will be repeated or re-done in a new way when teachers see an opportunity to re-teach a concept. We reassess students regularly.

Who are we and what do we do?
We are kip McGrath English and maths tutoring: Mount Gravatt! We help students with English and maths; those students can be from prep all the way up to grade 12. We are local to Mount Gravatt be but we work with students from Wishart, Mansfield, Rochedale, Upper and East Mt Gravatt, the list goes on! We can even work with students on line. Each student who comes to Kip McGrath Mt Gravatt has an individualized learning plan and works with a qualified teacher in a very small group of students.
