So many wonderful characters have come to life at Active Kids as our children celebrate their favourite books. 🌈💫

Over the last two days, the children have been visiting the library, listening to stories and engaging in story time experiences throughout the day. Their excitement, curiosity and joy have been wonderful to see! ❤️

We love seeing children develop a love for books and storytelling while sharing their favourite stories with their friends and educators.

Exciting News for Our Nursery Families!

We have some thrilling updates to share about our Nursery Program! We are delighted to announce the introduction of Bush Kindy in the babies' room. 🍃

Yay!🎉

Our excitement is through the roof, and we can’t wait for Bush Kindy to kick off in the nursery.

The babies have begun practicing how to use our prams, which will serve as their mode of transport to and from Bush Kindy, accompanied by our educators.

We’re looking forward to the adventures ahead as we expand our Bush Kindy program within Active Kids Mt Gravatt East!🪾🍃

Miss Harpreet is dedicated to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in an inclusive, supportive and nurturing environment. She believes children learn best when they are given opportunities to make choices, explore their environment and have their voices heard. 🌱✨
She is passionate about creating an environment where children feel safe, respected, valued and supported each and every day.

🚔 A Special Visit from Holland Park Police Station! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

Earlier this week, our children had some very special visitors from Holland Park Police Station! 💙

The police officers arrived in their police vehicle and gave the children an exciting look at what they do in the community. The children learnt about the different sirens and lights, explored the police car and discovered some of the important tools officers use each day.
Our little learners asked lots of thoughtful questions about police work, staying safe and how officers help our community. Some children even had the opportunity to try on a pair of handcuffs! 🔗

It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that gave the children the opportunity to connect with our local community heroes. 👮‍♂️💙

A huge thank you to the Holland Park Police for taking the time to visit us and make learning so much fun! 🚔✨

As our Educational Leader, Miss Alicia works alongside our educators to inspire high-quality teaching practices, support children's learning and development, and ensure our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Miss Alicia is passionate about creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments where children's voices are heard, their choices are respected, and their individuality is celebrated. Please remember never to leave children unattended in a vehicle, including during pick-up and drop-off times. Even a few minutes can pose serious safety risks.

Pulled up at the school gate. Sleeping toddler in the back. You'll only be a minute. 👶

Please take them with you anyway.

A quick pick-up can turn into something longer in an instant, and cars heat up faster than most parents realise.
