Our first story ballet is coming to life ๐Ÿ‡โœจ

From writing our storyline to building props and bringing characters to life, Alice in Wonderland is slowly taking shape.
These rehearsals are where the pieces begin to come together. Our teachers are continually sharing ideas and refining each scene, Zacโ€™s handmade props are finding their place in the story, and our dancers are discovering how to bring their characters to life through movement and expression.
Thereโ€™s still plenty to explore and work on, but itโ€™s lovely to see the childrenโ€™s hard work turning into moments of storytelling, one rehearsal at a time.
Thank you to our families for your support and encouragement as we bring Just Balletโ€™s first story ballet to the stage ๐Ÿค

A little glimpse of where we are so far, with more of Wonderland still to unfold.

YAGP Sydney 2026 ๐Ÿค Youth America Grand Prix

A special week, and a very proud moment for our Just Ballet girls.

โœจ Olivia โ€” Pre-Competitive Classical Top 12 & Ensemble Top 12
โœจ Mia โ€” Pre-Competitive Classical Top 24 & Ensemble Top 12

Olivia and Mia both began ballet from zero with Zac. Years later, here they are on the YAGP stage together โ€” still learning, still improving, and still standing by each other, as friends and as teammates.

For Mia, this was her first YAGP. Dancing with a foot injury wasnโ€™t easy, but she stepped onto the stage with courage and finished with a result to be proud of. ๐Ÿค

There is something very special about seeing Olivia and Mia here. They have been part of Just Balletโ€™s story from the beginning, and as we watched them become the dancers they are today, Just Ballet was growing alongside them too. This moment feels like a little reflection of how far we have all come.

โœจ Evangeline โ€” Full-Year Scholarship
Never stops working, always stays humble. So well deserved. ๐Ÿค

โœจ Amber
Quiet, focused and always putting in the work. In such a short time, she bravely stepped onto the YAGP stage โ€” and that alone makes us so proud. โœจ

We are proud of the results, but this week meant much more than that. It was a chance to see a little piece of what we have built together over the years.

At Just Ballet, ballet education will always come first. Weโ€™ll stay grounded, keep working, keep learning, and continue giving our best to every dancer who grows with us. ๐Ÿค

To every family who has believed in Just Ballet and grown alongside us โ€” thank you. Always. ๐Ÿค

This yearโ€™s audition brought so many talented young dancers into our studio. It was truly inspiring to see so many children challenge themselves and take that next step.

Behind our Elite Program is a great deal of thought, learning and dedication. Zac Fang puts countless hours into developing each level, constantly teaching, learning, reflecting and refining the program to better support our dancers. Alisa Poturaeva โ€ข Photographer โ€ข Australia has also played an important part in helping us refine and develop the teaching content for each level.

Because we believe a dancerโ€™s journey is shared.

โ€˜The child who dreams, the family who supports, and the teacher who guides.โ€™
When these three come together, meaningful growth happens.

Every year, we take the time to reflect, refine and continue building our program with the same commitment to quality ballet education. We are proud of how far weโ€™ve come, and grateful for everyone who continues to be part of this journey.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful teachers for your support, care and dedication throughout the day. ๐Ÿค

We canโ€™t wait to see what the next year brings. ๐Ÿฉฐโœจ
