You might sometimes hear us talk about planning heavy work for your child, here are some great examples of different types of heavy work to support your child’s regulation.

Share the Dignity do great work within the wider community, and we're really thankful to have them on board once again to help out the Melaleuca community.

And just like that we are preparing for the last day of Kindy for 2025!! What a year it has been, with the children and educators learning so much from each other and celebrating joy and wonder together. Today we farewell a number of children heading off to school in 2026, wishing them all the very best for their learning journey 🎉🥰

A wonderful service being offered at the Mount Gambier Library 🥰🎅

'𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔' 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬

The Mount Gambier Library is again offering a 'Sensitive Santa' service providing kids with the opportunity to visit Santa without all the noise, lights and crowds.

The inclusive service has been hugely successful for local families.

Children’s & Youth Services Library Assistant Bek Coates says library staff understand that going to busy spaces to visit Santa can be tricky for some families, and they're happy to continue the service this year.

“Following the overwhelming response to Sensitive Santa in previous years, we are thrilled to continue this special experience for children and families.” Bek said.

The sessions will run on Sunday December 14th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and Monday December 15th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

The final Sole Parent group for the year at Melaleuca Hub will be held on Monday 1st December.
