This week we will be celebrating Book Week! We look forward to sharing our library space with families Tuesday night (don’t forget your pjs) and Friday morning at 9am our book week parade.

𝑩𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒊'𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒊𝒍

Ms Say's year 5/6 class have participated in Borobi's Mail' which is a national school competition for schools across Australia where students create personalised artwork and good luck messages for Team Australia athletes for the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
Room 2 was only 1 of 20 schools Australia wide selected to participate. Students look forward to cheering on their athletes during the Commonwealth Games.

Thursday, week 6 our Year 5 students Jed and Flynn ran the 3km course at the State Cross Country Championships held at Oakbank, Adelaide.

Despite a challenging cold, wet and muddy 3km course, Flynn finished in 9th place and Jed 46th out of 193. Well done, great achievement!

Well done to our amazing Reidy Park community coming together to help Food Bank. Tomorrow Room 1 and Room 2 students will be delivering all these supplies, all 900 of them!!

Reminder to bring some goodies for Food Bank and come in your pj’s!

Room 1 and 2 are supporting Foodbank as part of their learning expedition and invite all classes to participate and come along in their pyjamas (Wednesday next week) and donate food.

Unfortunately, the forecasted weather is not cooperating for our walk tomorrow morning. The decision has been made to reschedule the walk for later in the week. More information with times and day will be confirmed as soon as possible.

A huge 💛thank you💛 to our incredible staff, students, families and wider school community for your generosity and support of our Biggest Morning Tea.
Together, we not only reached our fundraising goal of $500, but absolutely surpassed it, raising an amazing $1,332 for cancer research and support services.
This fundraiser was especially meaningful as we came together in honour of our colleague, Bec, who is currently undergoing treatment, and in support of the many individuals and families in our community whose lives have been touched by cancer.
Thank you to everyone who donated, baked, attended, organised, and supported this event in any way. Your kindness, compassion and community spirit made a real difference.
We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together.
