This morning our Harvest children went on a hunt to find some muddy puddles! Although we've been experiencing some gloomy weather lately, the Harvest Room decided to make the most of it and turn it into a fun learning adventure.
The children eagerly explored the outdoor environment, splashing, jumping, and searching for puddles of all shapes and sizes. Through this experience, they were able to engage their senses, develop gross motor skills, and enjoy the simple joy that comes from playing in nature.
Sometimes the best learning opportunities come from unexpected weather and today was a wonderful reminder that a little rain can lead to a lot of fun! 🌧️

Throughout the month of May, we supported "Go Grey in May", raising much needed awareness and funds for Brain Tumor Research!
Brain tumors do not discriminate and sadly can impact people of all ages. One of our amazing parents is currently undergoing treatment, making this cause one that is especially close to our hearts.
To support this cause, we ran a fun “Guess How Many Are in the Jar” competition!
We thank all families that participated in our fundraiser, if you wish to donate further, please visit: https://www.nrf.com.au/donate
And the winner is........ Zoe for guessing the closest amount of skittles in the jar, guessing 1475, with the correct amount being 1440!

Our curious learners have been diving into a world of dinosaur discovery through sensory play! Combining the children’s emerging interest in dinosaurs with a hands-on sensory experience. Each child was excited to wear their own pair of handmade dinosaur feet as they stomped, explored, balanced, and discovered different textures and materials 🌿🦕

Meet Trish 🌱
Trish believes that children learn best when they are given the freedom to explore through play and hands-on discovery. She finds genuine joy in being a part of their daily journey, supporting them as they grow, learn, and build new skills and feels that there is nothing better than walking into the Centre and being greeted by their smiling faces.
We can't wait for you to all meet Trish!

Today for Do It For Dolly Day, the children and educators at Beyond Mount Gambier came together to spread kindness, promote inclusion, and stand against bullying 💙
We proudly wore blue to show our support, created beautiful kindness jars filled with thoughtful messages, and spent time during our yarn times talking about the importance of kindness, friendship, and speaking up when someone needs help.
By creating meaningful conversations and experiences, we are helping children build empathy, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
“Speak even if your voice shakes.” 💙
