As costs rise and income falls, live music industry hopes to reverse decline 21/08/2026

We're sharing this ABC story because it shines a light on some of the challenges facing regional live music and events across Australia, including rising costs and changing operating environments.

At Generations in Jazz, we're fortunate to have the unwavering support of our Southern Limestone Coast community. The commitment of our volunteers, sponsors, schools, government partners and local businesses helps us continue to provide life-changing opportunities for young musicians each year.

Regional events matter, and we're proud to be part of a community that continues to back live music and youth arts. 🎶❤️
