Welcome to Term 3! 💚

We hope everyone had a wonderful two-week break and enjoyed some quality time together.

We look forward to welcoming back all of our existing children, as well as the new children and families joining us this term.

To our mid-year children who are beginning school, we wish you all the very best as you embark on this exciting new chapter. We know you’ll do amazing things!

We can’t wait to see where the children’s curiosity, discoveries, and learning take us throughout Term 3. Here’s to another wonderful term together! 💚

A night of reflection and connection as we celebrated the year that was with our beautiful group of kindy graduates.

A huge thank you to our families, the community we have created together makes Akuna a special place for everyone to learn and grow in many ways.

We wish our kindy graduates all the best for their next venture at school. We know you will all do amazing things

To strengthen our community cultural connections we were lucky enough to welcome Deadly Didge and families into kindy to learn about Aboriginal Culture. The children listened to animal sounds on the didgeridoo, engaged in tapping sticks and got to hold and learn about some Aboriginal artefacts such as boomerangs and digging sticks ❤️💛🖤

Another inspiring day facilitated by David which our team was privileged to be a part of! 🧡

On Tuesday, we spent time with our local preschools, followed by two inspiring days in Robe with preschools, primary schools, and high schools across the Mount Gambier 1 portfolio. The days were led by George and Lisa Ortero and provided a valuable opportunity to learn together, strengthen connections, and continue building a shared vision as we aspire to be one connected learning community across our region.

How would you like to see our preschools and schools continuing to connect and engage with the wider community?
