๐ง Rural volunteers needed for dementia prevention workshop!๐ง
We are looking for adults aged 18+ living in rural, regional and remote South Australia to participate in an online workshop focusing on reducing dementia risk.
Our research aims to lay the groundwork for a future dementia prevention toolkit for rural communities. The workshop will include group discussions about living and aging in rural communities, exploring which strategies and initiatives would - or wouldn't - work in your area, and imaging what dementia prevention could look like for rural communities in the future. By giving just 2 hours of your time, youโll be contributing to important research that could help create opportunities for prevention for rural adults.

Hi everyone!
We are wondering if anyone in the Mount Gambier community knows a student (or recent school leaver) from our region who has moved or is planning to move to Adelaide to study a business, commerce or economics degree at Adelaide University.
Thereโs a fantastic opportunity called the Biggins Family Scholarship, which supports regional South Australian students relocating to Adelaide. The scholarship is valued at up to $55,000 over three years and helps with costs like accommodation, relocation, books, and living expenses.
Applications close Sunday 29 March and only takes minutes to complete, so Iโm hoping to spread the word to anyone who might be eligible.
If you know someone who might be interested, please feel free to share this post or reach out.
More information about the scholarship is in the comments below.
