Smiles All Round will be running our ‘Growing Resilient Kids’ workshop presented by Gez Walter in Mt Gambier on Wednesday 8th of July 2026.
🌱 Growing Resilient Kids 🌱
Big feelings are a normal part of childhood, but they can be challenging for children and caregivers alike.
Join us for Growing Resilient Kids, a practical and engaging workshop exploring how children's brains develop and what helps them build resilience over time. Learn practical ways to support your child's emotional wellbeing, strengthen your connection, and help them develop healthy coping skills for life's ups and downs.
Topics include:
✔ Understanding the brain science behind emotions and behaviour
✔ Exploring the role of anxiety and stress (it's not all bad!)
✔ Learning how feelings influence thoughts, behaviour, and physical responses
✔ Supporting children to recognise, accept, and manage difficult emotions
✔ Practical strategies to help children cope with challenges, setbacks, and everyday stressors
Helpful for parents, caregivers, and anyone wanting to better understand and support children's emotional wellbeing. Certificate of attendance available.
We potentially have some tickets available for interested families. Please speak with Sam or Simone.
