Over the last 18 months, we have been actively working towards our Curiosity Approach accreditation, and we are so excited to share that we are now officially an accredited Curiosity Approach service! ✨🎉

The Curiosity Approach is about so much more than creating beautiful environments. It encourages us to reflect on our everyday practices as early childhood educators while supporting children to learn through hands-on experiences using repurposed, recycled and homelike materials within their play.

Although we are now accredited, our journey is far from over. We will continue to grow, reflect on our practices, introduce new materials and create warm, cosy environments where our children’s sense of belonging, wonder and curiosity can continue to flourish. 💚🌻

The Circle of Security supports educators understanding of why building secure, trusting relationships and supporting children to understand and express their emotions is important for children to feel safe, secure and supported while in our care.

By completing the training, Meg fosters her commitment to strengthening her knowledge and continuing to support the wellbeing of the children and families in our care. 💚

Throughout Term 2, the children in the Kindy room enjoyed regular visits to the Public Library for story time! 📚✨
The children loved listening to engaging stories, exploring the library cave, and participating in creative craft experiences organised by Bek and Mads. These visits continue to encourage children’s love of books, support early literacy skills and provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with the wider community! 💚

As we continue to build an inclusive culture, we are so excited to celebrate becoming Inclusion Aware across all five areas of inclusion.

We are committed to creating a place where every child, family and educator feels welcomed, valued and supported. 💚

Today we said a very tear-filled goodbye to Megan who is off on a new adventure! 🥲 Megan has been a wonderful addition to our team and we are so sad to see her go! We wish Megan nothing but the best in whatever comes next! 💚✨🌻
