Good Morning all.
As you are aware our charity is having a fundraiser Gala Ball on the 8th of July. We would like to ask if anyone has anything they can donate towards our silent auctions etc. This can be services, items or anything . I have patients waiting to be helped and donations of items would be most appreciative to raise money.
We would love to see you attend the Gala for a great night out and for a worthy cause. Thank you .

Kyoshi Andrew Roberts Foundation
Helping loved ones and families suffering from Malignant cancer.

Okay,we have mentioned about something exciting coming, so here it is.
When Kyoshi Andrew Roberts was diagnosed with his cancer we went about bringing awareness to this horrid disease and to help find a cure. When we realised there was no more options to help him, he decided to stop any more treatment with quality over quantity, and to pass away peacefully in his own home and not in a clinical hospice. . We as a family did not realise just how much went into securing this wish, financialy, physically and emotionaly. We were very lucky that we had help from our daughters and family so we could look after and spend quality time with Kyoshi Andrew without all the other demands that went with this. We have since learnt how difficult it is for other families in the same circumstances who are not so fortunate as we were with help, which brings us to our announcement.
The Hardest Fight along with his wife and daughters are in the process of setting up a not for profit Kyoshi Andrew Roberts Foundation, to help other families who find themselves in the situation of supporting someone with terminal cancer, and are finding it difficult to manage. This may be in home help, supplies and equipment for the patient, transport, food for the family and many other items and needs that we don't realise goes into caring for someone at home. Please help support this foundation in our fundraising efforts to help others less fortunate than we are. Kyoshi loved helping others and we will continue to do so in his name. Thank you for your continued support.

At 2:55pm this afternoon our founder, our mentor, the greatest man martial arts has ever seen, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife, daughters and family.
We take this time to reflect on all the great times we had with Kyoshi and the inspiration and encouragement we received from him.
Although he leaves a great hole in our heart, we have all been incredibly lucky to have Kyoshi in our lives.
He has shown us that life is not to be taken for granted, take each moment as it comes and fight to make your world better.
Nothing comes to you, you must earn it.
We appreciate all of our students, friends and family. Please feel free to post pictures, stories and memoirs of your time with Kyoshi.
In honour of our Kyoshi and the tradition of martial arts and respect for students and instructors, to allow for grieving,
all Edge Martial Arts Centres will be Closed as from tomorrow until the 5th of December.
We thank you for your support at this time.
Heather, Sensei, Samantha, Jennifer and Katharine, Sempai Rhys, Sempai Paul and the Edge Team of Instructors.
"If in doubt, knock them out."
Kyoshi Andrew Roberts.

Good on you Kyoshi..... Please come along and support Kyoshi on behalf of the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. We need to raise money for research into this awful disease.... No one should have to go through this. Kyoshi was the strongest and fittest man we knew, if it can do this to him then we need to stop it for everyone..
