Children's House of Early Learning- Mt Evelyn

Today the Discoverers had a very exciting visit from one of our parents who brought along an ambulance. Before exploring the ambulance, the children enjoyed listening to a story about ambulances and paramedics, helping them learn about the important role they play in keeping our community safe.
The children then had the opportunity to explore the inside of the ambulance and were fascinated by all the equipment they saw. They were especially excited to see the ambulance lights turned on and learn more about how paramedics help people in emergencies. To make the visit even more special, the children were gifted activity books to take home.

Today is Georgia’s last day with us before she begins her maternity leave. 💙

We are going to miss her, but we are beyond excited for this next special chapter for her and her family. We can’t wait for Koda to become a big sister and to meet her baby boy very soon!

🐾Puppy Kinder🐾

We are so excited to officially introduce Cisco and Poncho, Michelle’s two adorable Chihuahua puppies, who will be visiting our Pioneers Room as part of our Puppy Kinder experiences!

Puppy Kinder aims to support children’s confidence, empathy, emotional wellbeing, gentle interactions and responsible care for animals through calm, supervised experiences within the learning environment 🐶

We have already seen so many beautiful positives from having the puppies in the room, including:
• Children showing increased confidence and calmness
• Gentle and nurturing interactions developing naturally
• Meaningful conversations around kindness, care and emotions
• Children practising patience, self-regulation and empathy
• Lots of joy, excitement and connection throughout the day

Cisco and Poncho will usually visit on Wednesdays; however, days may occasionally change from week to week depending on routines and availability.

We cannot wait to continue watching the beautiful relationships, learning and joy this experience brings to our children 🐾
