Walker's Rd Preschool supports children with realistic goals to become happy, confident, successful, resi

lient, enthusiastic, autonomous learners. We believe in ongoing improvement and this is achieved through personal challenges, learning through mistakes and intellectual stimulation. We provide a warm social environment that promotes the development of the whole child. Each child is unique with different strengths and abilities, different learning styles and different interests. The learner's holistic development is supported in aspects of physical, social, emotional, spiritual, creative, ethical, cognitive and linguistic as they are intrinsicay interwoven and interrelated. Through engaging in courageous conversations and quality interactions with children, families and the community collaborative partnerships are developed that ensure a learning environment that is honest, thoughtful, spontaneous and supportive. We provide a professional program that tunes into all families cultures so that children see themselves reflected in the curriculum. Striving for high expectations we:

We value First People's language, stories and cultures. We encourage all children to acknowledge and value the culture of the Kulin Nation and to learn our shared history. This approach tunes into the indigenous students stories and cultures to support their Identity and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait families. We transition children to school by building on the strengths of each other's knowledge and skills. We support transition through collaborative partnerships with local schools. Walkers Rd is committed to caring for the environment through their weekly Bush Kinder Program. We are contributing to a sustainable future being actively engaged in sustainable practices with activities that Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Respect and Reflect.

On behalf of everyone who participated in our trivia night, Walkers Rd Preschool want to extend our heartfelt thank you for your generous sponsorship! Your support played a significant role in making the event a huge success. The evening was filled with fun, laughter and great participation and the wonderful silent action was a huge success thanks to the Walkers Rd committee who worked tirelessly to make this event happen!
The funds raised from this event will be used to purchase some wonderful new and well needed resources for our children.
