Today we excitedly welcomed Adam from Zero Plastics Australia to our school to talk about his company and how they take recycled lids and create amazing new products. The students were so engaged, asking amazing questions and learning how we can make a difference.

The students got to take home a new keychain and all the teachers received a new pen made from recycled lids.

On Thursday our students had to demonstrate their whittling skills for our first assessment in bush classroom. Students had to select two sticks that would be suitable for the tasks, whittle the bark from each stick and show two different techniques they had learnt in our bush classroom sessions.

We were able to award 5 certificates for beginners whittling skills at our assembly this week with many other students well on their way to this achievement next session.
