⚽️ A Proud Moment for St Bishoy ⚽️

A huge congratulations to Mr Karam for his dedication and commitment to building our Football Program over the past four years.

This week, we proudly fielded six teams across the competition, with one team finishing undefeated and well placed for the State Finals. Today, our Under 14 Boys progressed to the Grand Final, bringing home the Silver Medal. πŸ₯ˆ

These achievements reflect the hard work of our students and the countless hours Mr Karam has invested in developing a strong football culture at St Bishoy. We are incredibly proud of the way our teams represented the College with pride, determination, and sportsmanship

9 and 10 A Team with an A Plus Performance

Congratulations to our 9 and 10 A team who were undefeated with two wins and two draws in a pool filled with quality opposition.

They are now in contention to qualify to regionals and finished second in their pool.

All the players on this team had solid performances, but most of our students nominated George Marzouk as the best player in today's tournament.

Most importantly, all of our teams represented our school with pride and demonstrated Christian like conduct, even in defeat and at times when the opposition showed questionable conduct. For some of our teams and participants it was a good introduction into football and an opportunity to experience real competition, which I'm sure they found challenging and enjoyable.

Special thanks to Kyrillos Awad who coached the 9 and 10 A team and Ms Mircevska for helping today.

Looking forward to continued development in all of our students.

πŸ“šβœ¨ National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 βœ¨πŸ“š

Last week, our students joined children all across Australia for National Simultaneous Storytime! Together, we enjoyed sharing a wonderful story, celebrating the joy of reading, and discovering how books can bring people together no matter where they are.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to foster a love of literature, develop listening and comprehension skills, and remind our students that reading opens the door to imagination, learning, and adventure.

A big thank you to Mrs Milosev and Year 6 for helping make this special event such a memorable experience for our students. πŸ“–πŸ’›
