After completing her workshop 1 last month, one of our diploma students, Lisa, attended her first clinical placement shift today. Lisa was supported and guided by one of our qualified paramedics, Tammy, at Warwick Farm Inglis horse sales.

Some possible future Paramedical or Nursing Healthcare Hero's in the making. Students at tonights careers expo tried listening with stethoscopes and learnt about different types of bandaging while hearing about career pathways in both the out of hospital and hospital patient care roles.

Week 1 of workshop 1 is just about done. Our students have learnt a number of assessment and patient care skills.
Today, they gained skills in caring for patients experiencing an asthmatic event, including airway management and medication administration. They also received their AMR Clinical Placement uniforms, ready for onroad experiences with our qualified paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, and Registered nurses. 🚑 🚑
