🙏Today our school community came together to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, and what a wonderful day it was!
The day began with our Stage 3 students taking on the teachers in a highly anticipated schoolyard handball competition. The rivalry was fierce, but with the enthusiastic support of their cheerleaders 📣, the students claimed victory!
We were delighted to welcome parents into our open classrooms, giving them the opportunity to see the incredible learning that takes place every day at our school.
Our celebrations continued with a beautiful Mass, during which a number of students received Sacred Heart Awards. These special awards recognise children who consistently live out the Gospel values through their words, actions, and care for others.
Following Mass, our talented Year 6 Band students treated us to a wonderful performance, showcasing their hard work and musical skills. The day concluded with a family picnic, providing a lovely opportunity for families to gather and enjoy time together.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us today, especially Fr Marcus, Deacon Rod, and all of our families. Your presence helped make this celebration of faith, community, and learning so special.
❤️ Feast of the Sacred Heart 2026 ❤️

Our Year 6 students participated in an engaging 2-hour Voice of Youth Public Speaking workshop, designed to build confidence and communication skills.

The students enjoyed exploring the importance of composure, delivering a strong message, connecting with their voice, and becoming authentic, engaging speakers. They enthusiastically took part in activities that challenged them to step outside their comfort zones and develop the skills needed to captivate an audience.

A special thank you to Mr Martin from the CSPD CAPTIVATE team for sharing his insight, expertise, and enthusiasm with our students.

We look forward to seeing these talented young speakers continue to share their voices with confidence in the future!

Kindergarten have loved learning all about data this week! 📊✨

Students completed surveys on their:
✨ favourite fruit
✨ favourite zoo animal
✨ favourite colour

To finish off their learning, students recorded and analysed data from their skittles bags. The best part of all was enjoying the yummy treat at the end of the lesson! 🌈🍬

❄️🧤Vinnies Winter Appeal Snack Packs 🧤❄️

This term, our school is proudly supporting the Vinnies Winter Appeal by creating snack packs for those in our community who may be doing it tough during the colder months.

We are asking each grade to contribute specific items to help us put together these snack packs. Please refer to your child’s donation list to see which items have been allocated to your child's grade.

All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated and will help make a difference to someone in need this winter.
