Our Junior School students have been learning about the incredible Steve Irwin and his lifelong passion for wildlife and conservation.
Steve showed the world that protecting animals and caring for our environment could be exciting, fun and something everyone could be part of! 🌏🐍🦎
Our junior students have been inspired by his message to love wildlife, respect nature and do our part to protect the amazing world around us.

What a fantastic few days our Grade 5/6 students have had in beautiful Marysville! So much fun, laughter, adventures, challenges and plenty of memories made along the way. 💚
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible teachers and parent helpers who gave up their time to make camp so special. We couldn’t do it without you! 👏

Our eagerly anticipated CLUBS program kicked off yesterday in the art room.

There was clay play and watercolour painting on offer in the art room and the students loved joining in. Clubs are a great was to build friendships across year levels. They encourage inclusion, develop a sense of belonging and cater to different strengths and interests.

We hope to see even more kids at next weeks clubs.

Our Father’s Day Stall is coming up, and there are SO many great gifts to choose from! 🎉

Grades 5/6 can shop on Tuesday because of camp.
Rest of the school will be on Friday.

Whether you’re shopping for Dad, Grandpa, Pop, or another special person, our stall has something for everyone.

💰 Prices range from just $2–$12
💵 Please remember to bring cash!

The kids will love choosing a special little something to take home and surprise their favourite people.

Part 2!

Because word on the street is that this was the best day ever!!!
A huge thanks to Heather, Belinda and Nicole for pivoting when it all hit the fan last week and coming up with such an excellent plan. Thanks also to Percy and Jaki, as well as Belinda, Heather and Nicole for supervising today.

The Grade 5/6s did a little pivot and headed up to Lake Mountain a week early to beat the closure of Victorian ski fields on Sunday.

It was an awesome day filled with tobogganing, snow play and plenty of fun! A huge thank you to our amazing 5/6 families who managed to source snow gear at such short notice to make sure our students didn’t miss out ❤️

MDPS, What a wonderful Book Week Parade! Our school was filled with imagination, creativity and, of course, some very clever book-inspired costumes!

Books have the incredible power to inspire young minds, take us on adventures, introduce us to new ideas and help us see the world through different eyes. Most importantly, reading opens doors to learning, creativity and endless possibilities.

A huge well done to everyone for getting involved and bringing your favourite stories to life. We were blown away by the creativity and effort that went into your costumes!

Keep reading, keep imagining and keep discovering the wonderful worlds that books have to offer!

A friendly reminder tomorrow is our infamous Bookweek parade 👏🏻

We know our whole school will be rocking the look of some iconic book characters tomorrow. We can’t wait to see it.

This also means, there will be no Bookaburra session tomorrow. However our little preschool friends are warmly invited to participate in the parade if they would like to.

Bush buddies will be running, 10-11am.
