Alhamdulillah, a blessed Jumu’ah gathering was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria Centre on Friday, 7 August 2026, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

Members, associates and well-wishers of Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria gathered for Jumu’ah prayer and had the opportunity to meet Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri before his departure from Melbourne.

It was a valuable and memorable occasion for the community to spend time in his company, receive his guidance and convey their best wishes before his journey.

May Allah Almighty grant Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri a safe and blessed journey, protect him in all his travels, and enable us to continue benefiting from his knowledge, guidance and leadership.

Al-Hidayah Canada 2026 | Day 1

Alhamdulillah, Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria Executive Committee members, Vice President Mohammed Mohsin Sahib, General Secretary Syed Shah Rafiuddin Quadri Sahib and Brother Zahed, had the honour of visiting Imam Alaa Elzokm OAM at Heidelberg Masjid to invite him to our Annual Jashn-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Celebration.

We are honoured that Imam Alaa Elzokm Oam has kindly accepted our invitation to join the program as Guest Speaker.

During the visit, the delegation introduced Minhaj-ul-Quran International and its worldwide work under the beloved leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Imam Sahib was also presented with The Manifest Qur’an—the modern English translation of the Holy Qur’an by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Imam Sahib was delighted to receive the invitation and is looking forward to joining the celebration, In sha Allah.

One of the most anticipated and inspiring moments of Al-Hidayah Sydney 2026 was the landmark address delivered by His Eminence Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the timely theme of Language, Identity and the Future of Faith.

Drawing upon the Holy Qur'an, Islamic scholarship, and contemporary realities, Shaykh-ul-Islam explained that while English is essential for education, communication, and success in today's world, Muslim families must ensure that it does not become the only language through which future generations understand Islam.

He emphasised that Urdu is far more than a language it is a bridge to centuries of Islamic scholarship, spirituality, literature, and the rich intellectual legacy of the Muslim Ummah. Alongside English, parents should preserve Urdu and strengthen their children's connection with Arabic, the language of the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah, so that future generations remain connected to their faith, identity, and authentic Islamic heritage.

Shaykh-ul-Islam also warned against allowing social media and digital algorithms to become the primary source of religious learning. Instead, he encouraged families to connect their children with the Qur'an, the Masjid, authentic scholars, and righteous company, where faith is nurtured with knowledge, wisdom, and sound guidance.

The session concluded with a powerful call to parents and communities to raise a generation that is confident in the modern world, yet firmly rooted in its Islamic identity, language, values, and spiritual heritage.

"Protecting our language is not merely preserving words it is preserving our faith, our identity, and our connection with generations of Islamic scholarship."

Victoria North: Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, met with the office bearers, members, and volunteers of North Musallah at the residence of Syed Waqar Hussain Shah in Victoria North, Australia.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri appreciated their dedicated religious and organizational services and encouraged them to continue advancing the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran with the spirit of brotherhood, mutual cooperation, and service to Islam.

Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, delivered the Jumu'ah Sermon at North Musallah Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria North, Australia, on the theme "Brotherhood for the Sake of the Love of Allah Almighty."

In his thought-provoking sermon, Prof. Dr. Hussain Qadri explained that Islam offers humanity a universal message of love, mercy, brotherhood, and mutual respect, eliminating all forms of hatred, prejudice, and discrimination. He emphasized that Allah Almighty has declared the diversity of human languages, colours, and cultures to be among His greatest signs, demonstrating that diversity is not a defect but a deliberate manifestation of His wisdom and perfect design.

Drawing upon the Qur'an and the Sunnah, Prof. Dr. Hussain Qadri highlighted that true believers are like one body in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion. When one part of the body suffers, the entire body responds with pain and concern. He further explained that love for the sake of Allah is the purest form of love, free from worldly interests and personal gain, and serves as the foundation of genuine brotherhood, peace, and social harmony.

Prof. Dr. Hussain Qadri also noted that although modern society is more digitally connected than ever before, it continues to experience unprecedented levels of loneliness, fear, and emotional isolation. He stressed that Islam provides the true solution by reconnecting humanity with Allah and nurturing sincere love and compassion for others solely for His sake.

A large number of members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Victoria North, along with members of the Muslim Community, attended the blessed Jumu'ah congregation.

Following the Jumu'ah prayer, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri met with members of the Pakistani community and the local congregation. He also offered a special supplication (du'a) for the peace, unity, and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria Participates in the Pakistani Mango & Multicultural Food Festival 2026

Minhaj-ul-Quran Victoria Inc. participated in the Pakistani Mango and Multicultural Food Festival 2026 by organising a dedicated Minhaj Book Shop and Youth Development Network stall at Sandown Racecourse.

The stall featured a wide selection of Islamic literature and recent publications, including The Manifest Quran, Quranic and Hadith works, and books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and Prof. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.

Throughout the event, visitors explored the publications, purchased books and engaged with volunteers to learn more about Minhaj-ul-Quran’s educational, spiritual, youth and community initiatives.

The Minhaj Youth Development Network also introduced its range of activities, including youth development, sports, fitness, recreation, camping and leadership programs.

We sincerely thank the organisers, visitors and volunteers who supported the stall and contributed to the success of this community initiative.
