Musings of a Teacher Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love teaching the piano to people I will come to any suburb in the Redlands.

Sometimes it is difficult to juggle the family to get to organised activities. I offer a piano teaching service where I can come to your house. I also offer family discounts where 2 or more family members can learn at a discounted rate. Contact me if you live in Logan City or Brisbane City as I will travel to some suburbs in these council areas too.

Birthday boxes!! I haven’t been motivated to do too many school things these holidays due to the uncertainty. HOWEVER, I did make birthday boxes for my class. It’s so much easier to have these ready so you don’t panic when you look at the calendar and realise it’s someone’s birthday!! This year I have put a novelty rubber, stamp, face stickers and glitter!

Lol this has cracked me up. I can’t remember the lesson since this was way back in March, but I found this CRACKER of a video of me on one of the iPads. I look very teacher-ish. I clearly was thinking hard about whatever they were saying or doing.

Birthday boxes complete! In each box there is a stamp, pin, novelty eraser and a container of glitter. One of the containers had a blow out, so I am now wearing glitter 😂 so good to have these already prepared, so on those days of the kids birthdays, just whip it out! Tada! Last year I had a student say to me “Remember to make my birthday box for tomorrow!” 😂
