Taking photos isn’t frivolous. It’s preserving the pieces of a life we never want to forget. ❤️

When we lose someone we love, photographs suddenly become incredibly precious. They hold faces, smiles, ordinary moments, celebrations, holidays and little pieces of everyday life that we can’t recreate.

Sometimes a photo is all we have left of a moment with someone — and being able to hold onto that memory is priceless.

That’s one of the reasons I love scrapbooking so much. It isn’t just paper, pretty embellishments and creativity. It’s about preserving our stories, giving our photos a home, and creating something that can be held, revisited and treasured for years to come.

Because one day, the photos we take today may become some of our most precious possessions. 📷❤️
