Family and friendships are important and were especially vital as a single parent. My lived experience has given me empathy, connection and acceptance, creating a safe place for others. The desire to listen and learn from others has carried on throughout my life. I have enjoyed tutoring and working amongst Aboriginal people. Informal mentoring instigated a focus on counselling, rather than educati

on, and launching Transforming Choices. My desire is to see people empowered to make wise choices and flourish into the future.
