Movement builds more than muscles. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈβš½πŸŠ When kids run, kick, swim, and play, they’re developing motor skills, coordination, confidence, and resilience.

They’re learning teamwork, managing emotions, and discovering what their bodies can do. At Little Zak’s Academy, physical activity isn’t just downtime. It’s foundational learning. 🩡

This National Child Protection Week, we’re creating safe spaces where children learn to trust themselves and speak up. πŸ’›

We understand that leaving your child in someone else’s care comes with an enormous amount of trust.

That’s something we never take for granted.

Child safety is our highest priority, which is why we take great care in who we welcome into our Little Zak’s family.

Our rigorous recruitment process helps ensure every person who joins our team is someone we can trust to care for, protect and nurture the children in our centres.

3 June, our Little Navigators proudly celebrated Mabo Day by exploring a hands-on sensory experience inspired by the land and sea. 🌏

Miss Ruby introduced the children to the Torres Strait Islander Flag, talking about its colours, symbols, and the importance of respecting the rich culture and history of Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Through sensory play, the children explored natural materials, built new vocabulary, and engaged in meaningful conversations about identity, belonging, and caring for Country.

Together, we honour the legacy of Eddie Mabo and celebrate the stories, culture, and connection to Country that continue to inspire us all. πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ–€
