🤝 Community Partnership Announcement

The ASHS P&C is pleased to partner with Mary Van Brakel and First National Real Estate Bairstow Kerr.

Through this partnership, eligible property sales, purchases and leasing arrangements may result in a donation to the ASHS P&C, helping support opportunities for Albany Senior High School students.

🌸☕ Can You Help Us Support the Biggest Morning Tea? ☕🌸

We’re putting a call out to our amazing school community to see if anyone can spare an hour or two to help represent our P&C at a fantastic local event 💛

📍 Event: Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea
📅 Date: Friday, 19th June
🕙 Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
📌 Location: Lotteries House, North Road

As a P&C, we believe it’s so important to stay connected with our wider community 🌿 This is a great opportunity for a couple of parents or alumni to attend, represent our school, and build meaningful connections 🤝

👉 Volunteer your time to attend for an hour or two
👉 OR donate a plate (cake, slice, healthy option, or sweet treat) for us to share

🚨 Tuesday | Fear-Less Triple P Parenting Seminar (5:30–7:30pm)
A fantastic session with our school psychologist, sharing practical strategies to help support your child in managing anxiety 💙

📅 Wednesday | Year 11 (2027) Information Night (6:00–8:00pm)
An important evening for families to hear from the Careers team about subject choices, future pathways, and planning ahead — with snacks provided!

📅 Thursday | Year 6/7 Transition Evening (5:30–7:00pm)
A warm welcome to our future families — meet staff, explore the school, and learn more about starting high school at ASHS.

We encourage all families to get involved and make the most of these valuable sessions. We look forward to seeing you there!

Albany public library will be doing a community stationery swap!

From the 12-31 January 2026 the Library will be running a community stationery swap. A chance to donate, swap or pick-up excess stationery.

Good condition stationery can be dropped to the Library from the 12th January 2026, including:
- Pens - Pencils - Textas - Rulers - Erasers - Scissors - Sharpeners - Exercise Books - File Paper - Files - Dividers

Excess stationery will go to the Give Write program which supports disadvantaged WA students.
