we are taking all precautions to avoid (H5N).

Going back to smaller flocks of about 1 rooster & 6 hens in a mobile covered tractor.
Clean water, fresh fermented grain & a cover to guard from wild birds.

Except for locking them away in a shed,
Not what we regard as ethical, this is about the best we can all do.

Our chickens are our favourites and we do our best to look after them.

A long, Long time ago, (In todays timeline 😂)
just after Christmas I was sitting down for a brew looking over our farm & thinking 🤔 ☁️

If zombies 🧟 🧟‍♀️ attacked what would we need.
Well luckily that hasn’t happened, yet….

Otherwise the result was we need to go crazy with our gardens this year.

So after we sold all our chickens a mission was to established, create as many gardens as possible, still an ongoing process.

Like many things in life predicting the future 🔮is not our strong point, however,
Planning is.

We have managed to produce a fair amount of food compared to previous years and we haven’t even reached our target 🎯

We are learning and enjoying life.

We hope you and your family are making the most of what we do have and appreciating the small things in life.
