🌸 Our Early Learning Room 💛🙌🏽

Our Early Learning educators are always looking for meaningful ways to extend children’s learning, celebrate the seasons and create a sense of belonging throughout our service.

This spring, our educators have brought a little extra magic to the entrance of our 0–2 years room with this beautiful spring-inspired display 🌸🌿

As each season changes, so do the children’s experiences, interests and learning. Our educators use these opportunities to create inviting spaces that spark curiosity, encourage conversations and help children connect with the world around them.

We love seeing our educators spread the joy throughout Little Roos with their creativity, thoughtful displays and beautiful connections with our children and families. 💛🌼

Last week here at Little Roos, we were so excited to welcome Ranger Jamie Experiences to our service for a wonderful and engaging science incursion with our friends! 🔬✨

The children had an amazing time exploring a range of exciting hands-on science experiments that encouraged curiosity, wonder and plenty of “wow” moments! From experimenting with dry ice to launching rockets and exploring balloons, there were so many opportunities for the children to discover, question and learn through play.

A huge thank you to Ranger Jamie Experiences for visiting Little Roos and creating such a fun, interactive and memorable learning experience for our children. We loved seeing their excitement and curiosity throughout the incursion! 🚀🎈🧪

This week, our children have been making the most of our outdoor environment through a range of engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

From testing paper aeroplanes and exploring how they move through the air, to practising number recognition through hopscotch games, children have been developing their curiosity, problem-solving skills and early mathematical understanding.
