The Australian Snowsports Championships proved to be a memorable event for Tudor House, with four students achieving outstanding results on the national stage.

Leading the way was Max and Winter, who both claimed 1st place in their respective divisions. Max was crowned Division 4 Boys Individual Alpine, while Winter secured the title of Division 6 Female Alpine Multiclass Champion, becoming an Australian Champion in their divisions.

The success continued with brothers Hunter and Sinclair. Hunter securing 3rd place in Division 5 Boys Individual Alpine and Sinclair earning 3rd place in Division 6 Boys Individual Alpine.

To have four Tudorians stand on the podium at a national championship is a remarkable achievement and reflects the dedication, perseverance and hard work these students have shown throughout the season.

Few experiences capture the spirit of Tudor House better than seeing students from every year group come together.

Our annual Kahiba cook-out brought students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 together for an afternoon of cooking, exploration and connection.

Led by our Year 5 and Year 6 students, the event gave younger students a glimpse of their future Kahiba adventures while strengthening friendships across the School.

With campfires, toasted marshmallows, plenty of laughter and a wonderful sense of community, it was an afternoon to remember.

What a wonderful celebration of books, imagination and creativity.

Our annual Character Parade transformed the campus into a world of stories, with students and staff showcasing an array of fantastic costumes inspired by this year's theme, A Symphony of Stories.

The rain couldn't dampen the excitement, and the afternoon was made even more memorable by a special performance from our Upper School Choir.

A huge week on the slopes at the NSW/ACT/QLD Snowsports Championships in Perisher.

Despite challenging conditions, our students rose to the occasion, helping Tudor House secure an outstanding third place overall in the co-educational division.

A highlight of the week was claiming the NSW Laser Biathlon Champion Primary School Trophy for the third consecutive year, with Charlie also taking home gold in the Division 5 Male event.

Congratulations to our standout performers, including Winter, who claimed 1st place in the Division 5 Female Multiclass Alpine event, along with Max, Hunter and Grace, who each secured impressive silver medal finishes in their respective events. Our Division 4 Female and Male Cross-Country teams also enjoyed outstanding success, earning multiple podium finishes across both the Classic and Relay competitions.

The week also saw Sinclair, Thomas, Oscar, Finn, Brooklyn, Heidi, Freddie, Edward and Myles qualify for the Australian Snowsports Championships.

Beyond the competition, more than 60 Tudor House students enjoyed a fantastic week of skiing and snowboarding, developing their skills, building friendships and embracing every opportunity on the mountain, even through torrential rain.

Congratulations to all students who represented Tudor House with such determination, resilience and school spirit. We wish our Australian Championships qualifiers the very best as they prepare to compete on the national stage.

What a fantastic Back to King's adventure for our Year 5 students.

Twenty boys and girls travelled to the Senior School campus to be part of the Back to King’s weekend, cheering on the Senior 2nd XV and 1st XV rugby teams, including an exciting come-from-behind win in the 1st XV match.

The fun continued with dinner in the Dining Hall, games and activities in Gowan Brae, an overnight stay and plenty of opportunities to explore the campus. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience filled with friendship, laughter and lasting memories.

Science, curiosity and discovery were on full display as Year 2 and Year 4 students recently enjoyed a hands-on learning experience with Mr David Idstein who visited from the Senior School campus.

Year 2 students explored the world of forces through a range of interactive activities, including the excitement of a Van de Graaff generator demonstration.

Meanwhile, Year 4 students investigated how energy is generated, transported and used through a series of engaging experiments. From creating lemon batteries and building electrical circuits to exploring static electricity and sustainable energy sources, students put their scientific thinking to the test while tackling real-world questions about the future of energy.

It was a fantastic day of inquiry, discovery and hands-on learning, inspiring our young scientists to ask questions, think critically and explore the world around them.
