🤖🎉 Our Stage 2 students are having an amazing time exploring STEM with the LEGO Spike Essentials kits on loan from the Department's STEM program!
Today, Year 3 students worked in groups to build incredible creations like Animal Alarms, Buses, Ferris Wheels, Bowling Alleys, Hockey games, and Mini Golf courses. But the fun didn’t stop there. They then programmed their projects to come alive with movement, lights, and music!
It’s wonderful to see our students develop teamwork, creativity, and coding skills through this exciting hands-on experience. Even more exciting, all Stage 2 students will have a turn with the LEGO Spike kits this semester! We can’t wait to see what everyone will create next!🚀✨

1BH students had an amazing time exploring the local library today! 📚 They not only discovered new stories and sparked their imaginations but also learnt about the wide variety of activities the library has to offer. It was a wonderful opportunity to foster a lifelong love of reading and get excited about all the programs and resources available. Here's to many more adventures in learning and reading!

🏕️ YEAR 3 DAY CAMP ADVENTURE! 🌿

What an incredible day our Year 3 students had at The Tops! They embraced every challenge, supported one another, and showed fantastic courage throughout their camp activities. 💪🌟

From Survivor to the Climbing Tower and Vertical Cluster, there were plenty of opportunities to step outside their comfort zones, challenge themselves, and have lots of fun along the way! 🧗‍♀️🌲

It was wonderful to see our students encouraging their friends, building confidence, and creating lasting memories together. ❤️

A huge thank you to our amazing staff and to The Tops activity guides for making the day such a success, and to our Year 3 students for making us so proud!

Students and staff had a fantastic evening together, starting with a delicious dinner of garlic bread, penne pasta with mince, and finishing with lemon pudding and cream. After dinner, everyone hit the dance floor for a lively disco, enjoying favourite songs and colourful disco lights. It was a wonderful night filled with good food, laughter, and lots of fun!

New Public Preschool!

📢 Expressions of interest for Moss Vale Public Preschool are now open for:

Term 4 2026 — for children turning 4 on or before 31 July 2026. These children may or may not be starting Kindergarten in 2027.

Term 1 2027 — for children turning 4 on or before 31 July 2027 and starting preschool for the first time in 2027.

Our anticipated preschool opening date is early Term 4 2026, pending planning and regulatory approvals.

Families are invited to bring a completed EOI form, along with all original documents, to the Moss Vale Public School office via Browley Street.

Our public preschool will be free to attend, with no fees charged for enrolment, attendance or waiting list applications. Unlike public schools, there are no catchment areas - our preschool is a resource for the whole community.

Our public preschool will be free to attend. Start Strong funding is not used to subsidise fees at public preschools and may still be accessed by families at other early childhood education and care services.

Our preschool will provide a high-quality learning environment guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, supporting all children to make a strong start in learning and experience a successful transition to Kindergarten.
