"Lexie" getting prepared for her first dressage competition this weekend!

I think its really important to set goals to keep you motivated on improvement. "Lexie" hasnt bee riding for a long time so this is even more impressive to see how quick her progress has been.

She started on the and has now got this lovely guy to leanr the ropes on.

Cant wait to hear how it goes!!

What a show for the boys on the weekend. On Sunday winning ALL 3 open sections in the main arena. Thanks once again for a wonderful weekend. We are so lucky to have this venue close to home.

Everything that we were working on seemed to fall into place sunday, and even if they didn't win, I would have been super happy regardless.

I rode well, then jumped super! Thats all we want ❤️ Thanks for pushing through being sick. Hope youre feeling better ###x

beautiful mare "princess" at camden on the weekend 😍

Riding clients horses at competitions gives me a true feel for where they are at in their training. I can assess what they're understanding, where they're finding things difficult, and what small changes could make a big difference.

That experience helps me coach the rider with far more clarity and confidence. Instead of guessing what the horse is feeling, I can explain exactly what's happening and create a plan that suits both horse and rider.

Every horse has something to teach us, and every ride helps me become a better coach. My goal is always to give my riders the best possible guidance so they can continue progressing with confidence.

One of the things I enjoy most as a coach is riding my clients' horses.

Every horse feels different, and by getting in the saddle myself, I can better understand how they're progressing in their training, where they're feeling stronger, and what challenges they're facing. That gives me a clearer picture of what's happening beneath the rider.

It's not about riding the horse better—it's about gathering information so I can coach the rider more effectively. The better I understand both halves of the partnership, the more targeted and productive our training becomes.

Every ride teaches me something, and that knowledge helps me create a plan that brings out the best in both horse and rider. 🐎💪
