MPS FUNDRAISING GROUP // We are excited to share that the School Council have established the Mornington Primary School Community Group. The group will be coordinating a range of activities and events for the school community that aim to provide fun and exciting opportunities for students and families to come together, while also raising money to support the things that matter most to the school community (like upgrades to the senior playground!).

MOD 1 STEAM // Mod 1 students had a fantastic time in the art room this week creating colourful continuous line-inspired paintings for their portfolio covers. The portfolios will soon be filledwith artwork from Terms 1 and 2 and heading home shortly.

Wow, wow, wow what a show, your children, the staff at MPS CONGRATULATIONS..... To those of you who came and watched the matinee or evening show THANK YOU. We are lucky to have so many talented students along with creative and dedicated staff which saw SHREK The MUSICAL JR come to life....🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏 There will be a recording of the show available shortly, this will be shared on Compass. Everyone enjoy a well earned rest... Have a fantastic weekend.

MPS Presents SHREK JR. // Only 7 days to go and you will see the talented students of Mornington Primary School present Shrek Jr. Staff and students have worked extremely hard putting this show together. There are still tickets available, you do not want to miss this show. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday as we begin Term 3. Enjoy the last few days of holidays...

END OF TERM FUN // Wow what a way to end term 2...So much fun had in the morning watching the World's Greatest Shave happen on the lower basketball courts. Lots of crazy hair everywhere, well done to all those with some of the wierdest, fun and crazy hair we have ever seen... A huge thank you and a big congratulations to all those who got around our school community and supported/donated to this event. We are very proud to say that MPS raised $3357.00. Mr Saunders is now a bit lighter in his facial hair, Mr F will be feeling the cold and hoping that all those wonderful colours have washed out by now, Mr BW will possibly be still biting his top lip as the weather gets colder and the girls are all working on getting their hair back to some normality!!! Wishing everyone a safe and happy school holidays....

MPS WORLD'S GREATEST SHAVE // Not long now acutally only 3 more sleeps and we will see the transformation of some of MPS Staff and dome students as they take on the challenge to SHAVE, CUT or COLOUR.. WHO will CUT, SHAVE, or COLOUR... there is still time to donate is you can, please click the link... We have crazy hair and free dress day on Friday along with a gold coin donation to add to our fundraiser... Can't wait to see some of the styles the students come up with......

MOD 3 CAMP // Day 2 has been a busy day for everyone. The weather has been cooler but it didn't dampen the spirits of these awesome kids. Breakfast Scrambled eggs on toast, a yummy chicken wrap for lunch and spaghetti bol for dinner.... Lots of fun was had on the flying fox, bike riding, games and some bush cooking.. we may have some chefs in the making....Did Miss Richardson get a bullseye????? Hoping for an early night and a good sleep tonight.... See you all tomorrow
