We moved to this country 8 years ago and when people asked me: “would you like to become Australian one day?”, my answer for a long time was no but then this country grow inside of my heart, it brought me love and so many changes and growth at all levels.
Today my son and me became one more in this country. 85 people received this opportunity with us, 20 different countries represented.
In Australian’s hymn you can listen:
“We are one, but we are many and from all the lands on earth we come. We’ll share a dream and sing with one voice”.
Those words are full of meaning to me.
I am proud of my roots, I am Spanish in my heart and I will always be and also I am proud to being able to open this path in a country that gave me and still is giving me so much 🇦🇺💖🇪🇸
