These words I received today from one of my beautiful Mummas that attended one of my Mums and Daughter Days I actually don’t have words to explain how special this is 🤍

“ So today My Daughter and I received letters from each other 1 year ago when you did your very first mummy daughter day!
To see what we both wrote a year ago and to see where we are today was so incredible! Everything I wished a year ago for my daughter has happened and her and my relationship is so amazing.. really reminded me that everything with kids is a phase and the struggles her and I were in a year ago have made us who we are today! I am so excited to have these cards in my hot little hands! Touch in yoga can be quite a triggering experience for many people and as a yoga teacher you should never assume that your yogi’s are welcome to you adjusting, placing your hands on them or giving a massage through savasana! And that could change from week to week! One week you may feel like yes I am happy to have an adjustment through my practice but then you just may not want anyone in your space the next week! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!

So now when teaching classes, I will have these placed at the end of everyone’s mat and you can subtly turn the card to your preference that day on whether you are ok with hands on adjustments 🙏🏼

L E T I T G O!

It may be a song from a Disney movie but they’re definitely onto something!
If we could just “let it go” when we are angry, frustrated, annoyed, worried, anxious and so on, imagine how that drive to work would be, how we would handle that situation, how the rest of our day could be if we could learn not to hold onto things we think are problems?
Try it, next time you feel some anger creeping in, frustrated at a loved one or the light change to red when you’re already running late, instead of getting annoyed just take a deep breath and smile that you’ve actually got that moment and the ability to Let It Go - if you choose to 🤍

Let me tell you a little bit about me!

My name is Marina, but my friends all call me Mazzy!

I live in Mornington with my amazing Husband and my two gorgeous little children!

I have been practicing yoga since 2012 and 2022 decided to take the plunge and do my Yoga Teacher Training with the amazing Georgia ! I did my training not to be a yoga teacher, but to just learn more about yoga, but within a minute of graduating I was teaching .rebels where I still currently teach!
I’ve since gone onto to get my Yin Yoga Training, Trauma Aware Training and so on! I love learning everything I can about yoga and the history of yoga!
Yoga and Meditation honestly changed my life and I will be forever grateful!

I love sharing yoga with people and nothing warms my heart more than seeing a friend come to one of my classes, or welcoming a new yogi into my world!

I love going to see live music, ESPECIALLY Xavier Rudd!

I love my village of amazing friends - the new ones I’ve made and my oldest and dearest’s! You’re my everything!

My family is my world - especially my Dad, i cherish our daily phone calls.

I absolutely love the ocean and being by the beach! I crave it if I’m not near it, I love the sand, the water, the calm feeling the beach gives me. I can go there to be happy, to be sad or just to be.

I love being barefoot!

I love going on holidays, a night away, a weekend away a few weeks away! I’ll never not have something booked and about to head off somewhere!

I’ve recently found the world of Ayurveda thanks to the gorgeous and I’m in love with learning about it and incorporating it into my daily life!

My dream is to one day host a Yoga Retreat in Fiji!

Enough about me - I am looking forward to seeing you all on the mat in 2025 - and if trying yoga is something you’ve been thinking about, don’t wait any longer! Just do it! 🤍

H A P P Y N E W Y E A R

I hope 2025 is a safe, happy and healthy one for every one 🩷 often this is a time where we reflect on the year that has been, and the year ahead - setting goals, resolutions, wanting to change habits and bring new habits into our life. Whatever it is you maybe setting for yourself, or reflecting on, please be kind to yourself, don’t set unrealistic expectations, and start small. Write your goals down and keep them near you so you can read them daily. And remember, you can always start again, you don’t have to wait until a “new year” or wait for a new month, or saying I’ll start again on Monday - take a deep breath and start now.

Thank you to all of my beautiful yogis and supporters for everything in 2024, and allowing me to guide you through your practice, having me host your hens, baby blessings, wedding day yoga, children’s yoga, retreats and everything else you have allowed me to be a part of! I’ve Loved every moment and cannot wait for the yoga that lays ahead for us all in 2025.

As we get closer to December 25th, it can be a very bitter sweet time. For some it’s a time of joy, giving and receiving gifts, smiling children, too much food, happy family times, holidays and so much more! But for others it can be a time of stress, sadness, grief, a first Christmas without a loved one, no one to share the day with and also so on. It can be such a triggering time for many, filled with so many mixed emotions, financial worries, loneliness and sometimes just sadness. How ever you are feeling as Christmas approaches, remember everyone has their own story - so be kind to others, be kind to yourself, smile at a stranger, check in on your friends and loved ones, give to those that need and if you’re the one in need, don’t be afraid or ashamed to ask.

30 beautiful humans came through the door today and 30 beautiful humans touched my heart!
What an amazing day filled with so much love, tears, laughter and connection!

I can’t thank the gorgeous Mums and their daughters enough for showing up, allowing me to hold space and completely having faith in the journey!

I can’t wait to share photos of the day with you and am so excited to start planning for the Mums and daughters mini retreat in 2025!

And a huge shout out to my baby daddy and my two babies for making today possible💕

T O M O R R O W!

Tomorrow is the big day for those gorgeous Mumma’s and their gorgeous daughters booked into the Mums and Daughters Mini Retreat!

As I sat there last night reading the beautiful responses as to why these Mums are wanting to do this event and what they hope to get out of the event, it brought tears to my eyes - picturing some of these Mums pouring their heart and soul into the “why” - connection, fulfilment, make memories, siblings that take away time and so on, but the one thing I got from their words was that just about every single Mum wants to connect and spend quality one on one time with their daughter! Something so simple yet something us as mums find hard to do!

I just can’t wait to spend tomorrow meeting these beautiful women and their daughters as well as re-welcoming those Mumma’s and daughters whom are returning after doing the retreat back in July!

R E F L E C T I O N.

As i prepare for the Mums and Daughters Mini Retreat on Saturday, my main intention for the sessions is re connecting with your daughter, spending meaningful, quality time while actually being present in that time with your girl, providing some knowledge, tools and take aways on how you can do this. But it’s had me reflecting on my own current connection with my daughter! It’s made re stop and realise, am I practicing what I teach in my own mother daughter relationship? What can I do right now to be more present and connected with what my daughter needs right now, and where she is at in her life?
Reflection on ourselves is sometimes the hardest thing we can do, especially if it’s in relation to our own truth. As we enter the full crazy festive season, are you prepared for how this looks for you and your little people?
