There’s something special happening at Hampton… and our students are leading it.
Our 10c Recycling initiative, driven by our Student Councillors and proudly led by Oliver, is a wonderful example of leadership in action. Rain or shine, Oliver continues to show dedication, resilience, and heart.
This year, every can collected supports Telethon, making each small action part of something much bigger.
Thank you to our Student Councillors for your teamwork and commitment to creating positive change.
✨ Small actions really can make a big difference.

What an incredible experience for our student leaders at the Leadership Camp in Cahoots, Bullsbrook last term! 🌟
Students from Years 8–12 came together for a camp filled with leadership, teamwork, resilience and plenty of fun. From leadership seminars and scenario workshops to high ropes challenges, quiz night and water bomb games (sorry Mr Chick! 💦), the camp created opportunities for students to step outside their comfort zones and build meaningful connections.
A highlight of the camp was seeing our senior leaders support younger students so naturally and compassionately. A special mention goes to Lincoln, who showed outstanding leadership and kindness by supporting fellow students throughout the camp and even teaching everyone how to play the didgeridoo around the campfire.
Thank you to our incredible staff for their support and dedication throughout the camp, and to Principal Tracy Griffiths and Deputy Principals Kiasten and Rose for generously sharing their leadership journeys with students. The thoughtful questions and discussions showed just how engaged and inspired our students were.
A huge thank you as well to everyone involved in organising and supporting the camp, including Student Services and the PBS team for their funding support.
We are so proud of our student leaders and can’t wait to see this camp continue to grow each year!

13 of our Year 9 and 10 students recently took part in a “Try a Trade” experience at the NextGen Skills Centre, spending three days developing practical painting and plumbing skills.
Through engaging, hands-on activities, students not only built their confidence but also discovered the important role Maths plays in trade careers. A great opportunity to explore new skills and future pathways!

At the end of last term, our Specialist Cheer and Dance students had an exciting opportunity to visit Perth Magic All Stars for a special excursion.
During their time there, the team showed incredible dedication and teamwork as they worked hard to learn their routine in preparation for the upcoming competition season. We’re so proud of their effort and can’t wait to see them shine on stage later in the year!

We are proud to share that our 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 is growing to support our students better.
🥣 Breakfast will now be available on 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 - 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, supporting and strengthening our existing school breakfast mornings. This means even more students can start their day with a healthy, nutritious meal.
At Hampton, we know that a good breakfast leads to:
✔️ Improved concentration
✔️ Better engagement in learning
✔️ A positive and productive start to the day
Our goal is simple — every child at Hampton is supported to grow, learn, and thrive, and their wellbeing is always at the centre of what we do.
This expansion has been made possible by the support of the Cook Labour Government, helping us move closer to providing a 5-day-a-week breakfast program for our students.
👏 A special thank you also to the Salvation Army in Morley, who continue to run our much-loved Thursday breakfast, which is always so well received by students.
