Happy Father’s Day!

Today we’re celebrating the dads, stepdads, grandfathers and father figures who support, encourage and inspire the people around them.

Whether they’re teaching us life lessons, cheering us on from the sidelines or simply being there when we need them, their impact matters.

From all of us at Insight Training, we wish you a very Happy Father’s Day!

🌱 Spring has sprung in our ECEC classroom! 🌼

Today, our students got creative with experiences designed to inspire sustainability and encourage children to develop a love and connection with the natural world.

From exploring nature to learning how we can care for our environment, these hands-on experiences are a great example of how early childhood educators can turn everyday moments into meaningful learning opportunities.

Our CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care students recently enjoyed a fantastic day exploring how to meaningfully embed Aboriginal perspectives into children's learning experiences.

We were privileged to welcome Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Trainer Phil Collard, who shared his knowledge of Aboriginal history, culture, and the importance of creating culturally safe learning environments. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, reflect on their future practice, and learn directly from Phil's lived experience and expertise.
The day was topped off with a delicious cultural lunch, bringing everyone together to continue the conversations and celebrate learning.

Thank you, Phil, for sharing your knowledge and helping our future educators build the confidence to create inclusive, culturally respectful learning environments. 💛🖤❤️

Our Moorditj trainers and Birdiya proudly wore their "50 Years of Deadly" shirts as we joined the Rockingham community in celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of Aboriginal people over the past 50 years.

It was wonderful to come together, share stories, and enjoy some delicious homemade damper, with both yorgas and marmans taking part in the celebration.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so meaningful. Together, we recognise the enduring contributions of Aboriginal people and continue walking forward with respect, learning, and connection. 💛🖤❤️

There's nothing quite like learning by doing!

Our Early Childhood Education and Care students recently designed and explored a range of engaging sensory play activities as part of their practical learning.

From creating hands-on sensory experiences to discovering how play supports children's learning and development, our students are building the skills and confidence they'll use in real early learning environments.

It's always rewarding to see creativity, collaboration and plenty of smiles in the classroom! Ready to start your journey? Learn more about our Early Childhood Education courses: https://ap1.hubs.ly/H018B-q0

Building confidence starts with the everyday skills that foster independence.

Our Individual Support students have been practising personal care and grooming techniques with one another in a supportive, hands-on learning environment. By developing these practical skills, they're building the knowledge, confidence, and compassion needed to provide respectful, person-centred care in the workplace.

It's all part of preparing our students to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people they support.

Learning through play!
Our early childhood education and care students recently had a fantastic time creating and testing out sensory activities for children. While these activities look like pure fun, they are actually crucial for a child's development! Sensory experiences help build nerve connections in the brain, encourage motor skills, and support language development. Our future educators love learning how to create these meaningful experiences to help children thrive.
