Our year 9 science students were invited to an online talk by Australian Astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg of the Australian Space Agency. Inspired students to follow their interests and encouraged them to pursue a career in Space science.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day. JFSC is committed to learning, educating and making change for reconciliation.
Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

Earlier this term, Philanthropy Club members were invited to a meeting with fellow schools, St Stevens and Trinity College. Students heard from members of Western Australian Charity Direct and selected presenters working with people in need in our community. They had the chance to network with other students, discuss what has been achieved so far and plan for future actions.

A friendly reminder that Tuesday June 2nd is Term 2’s College Development Day, no students are required to attend the College. Students return to school on Wednesday June 3rd.

Recently our Specialist Tennis class travelled to Reabold Tennis Club in Floreat to compete in an intra-school tournament of Fast Four tennis. The students displayed great determination, sportsmanship, and skill.
Students enjoyed a Padel coaching session full of enthusiasm and fun. Special thanks to the for their expert tips.

Year 8 HASS classes are busy designing, building, and painting to create Medieval Museum displays for their history assessment task. The students will display their finished products later in the term and vote on a winner.
