On Wednesday, 2 September 2026, we celebrated Early Educators Day across our services.

At DDHQ Pty Ltd, we are proud to recognise and thank all of our educators, staff, and managers for the incredible dedication, passion, and care they bring each day.

Their knowledge, experience, kindness, and enthusiasm help create nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Every day, they warmly welcome children into our services and play a vital role in giving them the very best start to their early education journey.

🎵📚 Let the Book Week voting begin! 📚🎵

Book Week 2026 is just around the corner, and Dinky Di Morisset is buzzing with excitement as we celebrate this year's theme, "Symphony of Stories."

Our talented Educators have been hard at work decorating their room doors, and the results are absolutely fantastic!

Now we need your help to choose the People's Favourite Door.

Books books books...
We are hosting our first book fair at Dinky Di Morisset. We know the importance of reading and introducing children to literature so alongside book week (commening 24th Aug) we are hosting a book sale.
There are many titles to choose from, but be quick as they will sell fast. Simply see Caterina in the office for more information on purchasing.

Our Bilby children had a wonderful time engaging in a hands-on sensory experience as part of their ongoing sensory exploration project. 💛

Using crumbled Weet-Bix as the sensory base, the children helped set up the activity before searching for hidden story characters from the much-loved book Dear Zoo, extending on a child’s recent interest in the story.

As each character was discovered, educators encouraged meaningful conversations about the story, supporting language development, early literacy, memory recall and imaginative thinking. The children also enjoyed scooping, pouring and transferring using wooden bowls and scoops, helping to strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and cognitive development.

Learning through play is always so much fun, and this engaging sensory experience was filled with curiosity, discovery and joy!

As our Centre Director, she's spent years supporting children with additional needs and neurodiverse ways of learning, and she leads with a simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen, supported and capable.
