📚✨ Celebrating Book Week at Hive Academy Alliance Avenue! ✨📚

Our Alliance Avenue educators have certainly embraced Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories, dressing as some much-loved storybook characters and bringing plenty of fun and imagination into the centre.

Book Week is also a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the important role stories and literature play in children's learning and development.

Through shared reading, storytelling and literacy-rich activities, children build language and communication skills, explore their creativity and imagination, and begin developing a lifelong love of reading.

A big thank you to our wonderful Alliance Avenue team for getting into the spirit and making Book Week such a memorable experience for our children. 🐝📖

Science Week has started and was full of excitement and discovery at our The Hive Academy Morisset! 🧪✨

The children were immersed in a variety of hands-on science experiments that encouraged curiosity, cause-and-effect thinking, problem-solving skills, and an introduction to fascinating chemical reactions.

We were thrilled to welcome Professor Lab De LuLu, who engaged our Carpenter Bees in an interactive and entertaining science experience. Through exploration, prediction, and experimentation, the children became little scientists, discovering how science can be both fun and educational.

A wonderful start to a week of learning, laughter, and discovery as we celebrate the wonders of STEM together! 🔬💡🌟

Its time for our annual book fair at The Hive Academy Morisset.
The books have been set up in reception and Rachael has sent out information on how to purchase. We know how much children love reading and with book week fast approaching, what a great time to buy a new book.
Our aim this year is to sell over $2000 worth of books and we think we can. From the sales our service will receive money to spend on additional books for our children.

A child can learn to count almost anywhere.

Learning to share a swing, take a turn, and invite someone else into the game is harder, and it only happens with other children, outside, in real time. 🤗
