The children in Kindergarten have been completely captivated by the hilarious book Funky Chicken in Space! 🐔✨
To bring this out-of-this-world story to life, our little astronauts teamed up to build our very own giant space rocket.
We might have a few future rocket scientists (or funky space chickens) on our hands!

Our little scientists have spent this term diving into the wonderful world of science! ✨From learning about light, to chemical reactions ⚗ and the vast world of Fibonacci sequence, our Kindy students explored a huge variety of scientific subjects over the term so far. Through hands-on exploration and sensory play, our Kindy children are building a strong foundation for critical thinking, teamwork, and lifelong learning.

Sound the alarm! 🚨🚒
Our little ones had the best day ever learning all about fire safety! We were thrilled to welcome our local firefighters to the centre today. The children didn't just get to see the big red truck up close—they became junior firefighters!
A massive THANK YOU to our local heroes for taking the time to teach our little ones and keep our community safe! ❤️🔥

✨ Tiny Wings, Endless Wonders! ✨

This morning, a moth resting on the outside of the glass door captured the children’s interest. They eagerly gathered to watch as it slowly walked up and down the glass, observing its movements with great curiosity. Together, we talked about what it was, and the children learnt that it was a moth. We explored its features, noticing its wings, legs, and the way it moved. 'O' lovingly named our visitor “Mothy,” and soon the other children joined in, happily greeting our tiny friend with enthusiastic “Hello, Mothy!” Their shared excitement created a wonderful opportunity for conversation, language development, and imaginative thinking.

When Mothy gently fell to the ground, I carefully picked it up so the children could have a closer look. They watched with fascination as the moth walked across my hands, observing it respectfully and gently. It was lovely to see 'R' demonstrate growing confidence by bravely holding Mothy herself.

This spontaneous encounter sparked a sense of wonder and curiosity about the natural world. The children showed respect and care for a living creature while asking questions, making observations, and sharing their ideas with one another. These moments help build an appreciation for nature and encourage children to become confident learners and active explorers.

Our little explorers had the absolute best time discovering the wonders of the ocean today! From squishy sensory touch-tanks to colourful ocean themed activities, we explored the magic of marine life right here at PEAK . 🐢

We had a Wheeeeeely great Bike Day! 🚲🚲🚲

Today we turned our carpark into an open bike track and we had the most fun time practising our bike skills, cheering each other on, and enjoying the freedom that comes with riding around in the sunshine with our friends!
We ensured to keep our helmets on and practiced watching out for friends - both younger and older - to ensure the safety of ourselves and friends!

✨ Thanks for such a beautiful Day, we cannot wait to do this again! ✨

🚀 Science Fun in Kindy! 🌈
We are so excited to share that Kindy Science is joining us in Term 3 for a weekly Science lesson, on Mondays, in our Pre Kindy 2 and Kindergarten room.
We can't wait to see what we will be exploring and investigating each week. Will it be volcano making 🌋, exploring potions ⚗ or looking at the stars 🔭?

🎶 Let’s Make Some Noise! 🎶
Did you know our Nursery and Toddler children have weekly music classes? 🥁✨Every Friday morning (starting in Term 3), our rooms transform into a vibrant concert of singing, dancing, and instrument exploration!
Seeing them light up while shaking maracas and tapping rhythms is always the highlight of our week. 🌟
