🦎🐢🦘 WILD ABOUT WILDLIFE! 🐢🦎🦘

What an exciting day we had at Milestones Early Learning Caboolture! 🌿💚

Today we were lucky enough to welcome Wander with the Wildlings for a very special wildlife experience!

The children were captivated as they met some amazing Australian animals up close and learned all about how we can care for and respect our wildlife.

A huge welcome to our special visitors:
Bones the Bearded Dragon
Turbo the Turtle
Socks & Scout the Sugar Gliders

The children had so much fun watching, learning, asking questions and discovering fascinating facts about each of our furry, scaly and speedy friends!

Experiences like this provide wonderful opportunities for children to develop respect for living things, curiosity about the natural world and a growing understanding of their role in caring for our environment.

📚✨ HAPPY BOOK WEEK FROM MILESTONES CABOOLTURE! ✨📚

What an incredible week of imagination, storytelling, and fun we’ve had celebrating Book Week! 🎨📖
Our little learners (and educators!) loved dressing up as their favorite storybook characters, diving into magical tales, and exploring colorful learning setups inspired by world-class children's books. From cozy story corners to hands-on craft activities, every day was packed with wonder and creative adventure.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful families for putting together such amazing costumes and sharing the love of reading with our community! 💙

🔬🐣 Science Week at Milestones Caboolture!

What an egg-cellent Science Week we’ve had!

Our Henny Penny Hatching Program arrived and it has been a huge hit, giving the children the opportunity to watch, observe and learn about the life cycle of a chicken in a fun and interactive way.

Our little scientists have also been busy exploring a range of exciting hands-on experiments, including:

💥 Bursting Monsters
🥚 Bouncing Eggs
🧊 Exploding Ice Blocks
🧲 Learning all about Magnets
🫧 And, of course, everyone’s favourite… GOOP!

The children have loved making predictions, asking questions, testing their ideas and discovering what happens through hands-on investigation. 🔎✨

It has been wonderful watching their curiosity, excitement and knowledge grow throughout the week.
Who knew science could be so much fun?! 💙

Our Henny Penny hatching program will continue through next week where we will continue to watch our new little feathery friends grow.

Today, we aren’t just celebrating the mums who gave us life, but every woman who has helped us build one.

To the Grandmothers who offer a special kind of wisdom and the warmest hugs, to the Aunts who are our biggest cheerleaders and best friends, and to the Extraordinary Women who stepped up, leaned in, and chose to love us as their own—thank you.
