📚 Book Week At Mooroopna Park Primary School📚

What a fantastic day celebrating Book Week at Mooroopna Park Primary School!
Our students enjoyed a fun-filled day of Book Week rotations, celebrating stories, creativity, imagination and, of course, a love of reading.
The highlight was our Book Week Parade, with students and staff bringing some of their favourite book characters to life. There were so many creative and colourful costumes on display!
A huge thank you to our staff for organising such a wonderful day and to our families for helping with costumes and joining us for the parade.
We loved celebrating this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories”, together as a school community. 📖✨

A huge thank you to Eat Up Australia for their ongoing support of Mooroopna Park Primary School. 💛
Building strong relationships with our community partners is incredibly important to us, and we are so grateful for the wonderful partnership we have with Lyndon and the Eat Up team. Their generosity, genuine care and commitment to supporting our students helps us ensure our kids have access to nutritious food and are ready to learn each day.
We are incredibly lucky to have organisations like Eat Up in our corner, helping us give every student the best possible opportunity to thrive. Thank you, Lyndon and team — we appreciate everything you do for our little school! 💛🖤 Our students are going to enjoy these wonderful snacks that were delivered on Friday!! 💛😍🫶

We were incredibly proud to have Mr B, Mr Sibley, Lisa and Tina represent Mooroopna Park Primary School at the prestigious Australian Education Awards, where our Principal, Hayden Beaton, was recognised as an Excellence Awardee for Government Primary School Principal of the Year. This well-deserved recognition celebrates Mr B’s outstanding leadership, but it also shines a light on the incredible work happening across our entire school.

From our significant improvements in NAPLAN and student learning outcomes, to our unwavering commitment to wellbeing, inclusion and engagement, Mooroopna Park continues to show what is possible when a school truly believes in its student.

Behind every improvement is a student who has worked hard, a staff member who has believed in them, a family who has supported them and a school determined to remove barriers and create opportunities.

We are incredibly proud of Mr B — and equally proud of what this recognition represents: a school community that continues to challenge expectations, raise the bar and create better outcomes for every child.

At the heart of it all is the belief that guides everything we do: Every child, from every community, deserves a fair go.

And we couldn’t be prouder of the school we continue to build together.

Robyn’s genuine care for our school, our students, and our families shines through in everything she does. Her constant willingness to lend a helping hand and help ease the cost of living makes a world of difference to our entire community. We are so incredibly lucky to have her in our corner!

🏆⭐️ We are incredibly excited to share that Mooroopna Park Primary School has been named one of just three schools in Australia to receive an inaugural Food Ladder Community Roots Excellence Award, presented on the Gold Coast last week 🏆⭐️

We are truly honoured to be recognised as part of such an inspiring initiative that celebrates schools creating lasting change through food education, wellbeing and community connections. We’re already seeing the incredible impact of the greenhouse, with its fresh harvest being incorporated into our Healthy Food Program and enjoyed by our students every day.

Our Principal, Hayden Beaton, was proud to represent our school, accept the award on behalf of our entire community, and share the incredible work happening every day at Mooroopna Park Primary School.

This recognition belongs to our amazing staff, students, volunteers, community partners and families who make all that we do possible. Thank you for being part of our journey 🌱🪴🫶
