Another little side project to go with the previous side project.

Another side project. And to think it started as a pile of pallets. :D

Another little side project. A Kindergarten Birthday Board. You just stick the child's name or picture on the hanging ribbon under their month.

Two groups in this room so two ribbons.

Last of the Christmas orders done and picked up.

Merry Christmas everyone, be safe, be kind, be thoughtful and have a very Happy New Year.

Little side project delivered.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Another Christmas present picked up.

Another set picked up yesterday for a birthday boy.

Clearing out some wood when I noticed I had a helper sitting on my shoulder offering advice about what to keep and what to discard.

Sorry to all the arachnophobes out there.

Enjoy the weekend.

This one has been donated to a little girl who's undergoing a huge battle. Hoping it puts a smile on her face when things are tough.

If you would like to help out, please click on the link to her Go Fund Me page that I have included below. Please share with or tag as many as you can.

As always, thank you all for your amazing support.

Cheers, Hubby.

This one is all boxed up for a birthday boy in NSW.

Happy Birthday buddy.

Looked after two delightful little girls today, (4 & 6), so didn't do a lot of tree house stuff. Oh well, at least I got my nails done! Thanks girls, I've still got it on like I promised I would.

[06/20/17]   Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice. It's been 3 weeks since I finished a Tree House order, send the pics and received a reply saying how pleased they were with it. They asked me to send the bank details so they could pay for it, which I did, along with a request from me for their postal address. I can see from the FB post that they have seen it, but as of yet haven't heard anything back. No payment, no address.

I've sent a couple of reminders about needing their address to stick on the box but can see from FB that these last couple haven't been seen. I've even said that if they have changed their mind, that it was OK, (I have other orders to fill so can just move it along), but just let me know.

So, my question is, how long should I wait? I believe it was for a birthday present so I don't just want to assume they no longer want it.

Cheers all, Hubby.

Another delivery done.

[05/18/17]   You never realise how much you rely on one particular item until you don't have it. So after about a week and a half of having no sander, it's all go, go, go now I've got it working again.

Me and Arthur, our bat crap crazy beagle, enjoying a cuppa before starting work on more tree houses. Well, he enjoyed most of it.

On my way out to make another delivery to a local FDC. Note the new type of crane.

A quick delivery today for a Birthday Boy turning two.

Just an FYI for all those enquiring, each block is lightly sanded and given a coat of a wax polish I make myself from all natural products. A set of 65 pieces is $120 (+p&h), but I'm terrible at counting so you'll always end up with more.

Cheers, Hubby.

This one is all boxed up and ready to be sent to an early childhood teacher in WA.

Someone's going to have fun on their birthday with this one that was just picked up.

Another one delivered to local council for one of their vacation care programs.

Santa and his Reindeer look at home amongst all the lovely candles, which you can find here:

Merry Christmas everyone and have a safe and Happy New Year.

Always remember the world is full of wonderful people who are kind, loving and caring, if you can't find one, be one.

A couple of more Christmas orders done, one delivered one picked up. Cutting it close I know but losing a couple of weeks with a back issue didn't help.

Since starting Tree Houses By Hubby, I've had the pleasure to drop in to many a kinder or child care center. It has also been great to see the many different styles of playgrounds and how many of them are doing away with the bright coloured plastic equipment for a more natural adventure based product and setup.

And then there's this!!!

Just had to stop and have a look and the center's CEO was kind enough to lets us have a close up look and take some pics. To give you an idea on size, I'm 6'2", so, how good would one of these look in your workplace? (Whether you work with kids or not, one would still be pretty cool to have)

If you want to have a look for yourself, it's at the Discovery Childcare and Education, 50 Maroondah Hwy. Croydon, Vic.

And yes, I'll admit it, I had a bit of a geekout moment, but can you blame me?

Someone wasn't happy with all the fruit bats in his favourite tree. Didn't mind posing for the photo though, probably because I scared all the bats away when I went outside to see what all the noise was about.

Do you know someone crafty who loves sewing? These came about because I kept dropping my pins and needles. Would make a nice little Christmas gift and come with over a dozen 40mm pins.
$20 each.

Looks like it's getting close to that time of year again, witch means she might only be here for a short spell.

Doing what I do, I get requests for many different things, but usually on a fairly small scale. However sometimes the requests are on a much larger scale, like these from my very own No.3 son. Earlier in the year it was a full size Viking axe and helmet, (for dress up day) and this last week a custom made Wizard's Staff to go with his final day of school costume for today.

Well at least they're being helpful now, thanks guys...
Uh-oh, they're at it again! Won't be long before they become a horde!
I've noticed in the morning that sometimes things are not quite in the same place as where I left them the night before....
