💙Arianna has been making steady progress in her numeracy skills. I make sure to focus on topics she finds challenging at school, while providing her with alternative perspectives and tailored learning experiences to deepen her understanding. 💙

🤩 Zoe has been practicing her Jump Strategy!
Using this strategy helps break down numbers into manageable parts, making calculations easier. It also encourages place value understanding by breaking numbers into tens and ones and helps students add in steps (jumps) rather than all at once, reducing errors.

❤️Kaia is working on improving her writing! I provide a stimulus (an image or prompt) and we discuss what we see, think and wonder about the image.

✏️To build her stamina for writing, I use a timer and have her complete a paragraph. This gradually increases her endurance and ensures she manages her time effectively.

🚀 Starting the year with a revision on the Parts of Speech!

✏️ This lovely student had to read the text and highlight the nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. She then consolidated her learning by choosing her favourite words to place in the worksheet.
