2026 Oceania kids Jiu Jitsu championships

Great work by the team today 👏
Everyone medalled in their division.
Some good improvement and some things that need improving.
As always it's a work in progress.
Competition allows us to see how our training has worked and test it out against others.
Proud of all of you for stepping onto the mats. Out of your comfort zones and giving it a go.

We head back to training and make the necessary adjustments to our games in readiness for the next challenge 👊

We had a team of 3 today at the competition - Gideon, Marcus and Cassie.

A 4th place for Gideon today in Gi
A 3rd place 🥉 in Gi and also 🥉 in No Gi for Marcus
A 2nd place 🥈 in Gi and also a very hard fought 3rd place 🥉 in No Gi. Standard in the girls divisions of Gi and No Gi was outstanding, with some really hard fought close matches. Cassie in No Gi went 5 matches 3 subs for the 🥉👏
