Yesterday, our little ones came together to celebrate Daffodil Day by wearing yellow and enjoying so many fun and meaningful experiences! 🌼✨

The children explored creative activities, sensory play and hands-on experiences while learning about kindness, caring and helping others.

It was wonderful to see everyone dressed in bright yellow and bringing so much sunshine to our day! 💛
A big thank you to all our families for joining in and making the day so special. 🌼💛

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming some Aboriginal Elders into our service, giving them the opportunity to experience the magic of our cottage childcare and learn more about what we can provide for our local community. ❤️

We feel incredibly lucky to have Sandy Burke join us as our Aboriginal Liaison, supporting us to strengthen our connections, work alongside our community and create meaningful opportunities for engagement.

We’ve also been so proud to see our very talented Summer create a beautiful piece of artwork for our service, which tells the story of people from all different backgrounds coming together as one at Magic Cottage. ❤️

A beautiful representation of our diverse, inclusive and connected community — something we’ll proudly display out the front of our service! 🌈✨

We shared a beautiful morning tea together, enjoying some delicious homemade damper while discussing the many benefits of early childhood education and care and the important role we can play within our community.

We are so grateful for this rich community engagement and look forward to continuing to build these meaningful connections together. 💛🖤❤️

Learn practical, everyday ways to support your child's speech, language, movement and overall development through play and daily routines. The session is designed for families with children aged 0–4 years.

🖤💛❤️ During NAIDOC Week, our Toddler Room explored boomerangs as an important cultural symbol through a creative painting experience using sticks. This activity encouraged curiosity, creativity, and conversations about celebrating and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

EYLF Outcome 2 – Children are connected with and contribute to their world: Children are developing respect for diversity and an understanding of Australia's First Nations cultures through meaningful learning experiences.
