Yesterday, Magic Cottage Moora was lucky enough to be invited along to Central Midlands Senior High School Try a Trade Day! 🌟
We have been very lucky to be invited along to this fantastic event for the past few years, giving us the opportunity to showcase the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and help students explore where a career in early childhood can take them. 💙📚
We were kept busy all day with students stopping by to have a go at our activities, ask questions and learn more about what working in early childhood is really like! 🙌✨ It was great to see so many students getting involved and showing an interest in our sector.
Throughout the day, we were able to give students a hands-on look at what working in early childhood is all about — supporting children’s learning and development through play, creating engaging environments, building relationships with children and families, and making a difference during some of the most important years of a child’s life. 🌈
Early childhood can open the door to so many different pathways, from Educator and Room Leader through to Assistant Director, Centre Director, Early Childhood Teacher and more! 🎓 There are so many opportunities to learn on the job, gain qualifications while working and continue to grow within the sector.
This day was extra special for us as many of our educators attended Central Midlands Senior High School themselves, while some of our team are still students there today, beginning their own journey into early childhood. 🥰
We are super proud of the relationship we have with the school and love being able to show local students the opportunities available within our sector and right here in our community. 💙
