🐣 A Warm Welcome to Our Baby Chicks! 🐣
This week at Nido Moonee Valley, we were excited to welcome some very special visitors from
Henny Penny! Over the next two weeks, the children will have the opportunity to observe the incredible life cycle of chicks as they hatch, grow, and explore their new environment.
This hands-on experience has sparked curiosity, wonder, and meaningful conversations about living things, growth, and caring for animals. The children have already formed a special connection with our newest arrivals and even named one of the chicks Sunny! ☀️🐥
We can’t wait to continue documenting this exciting learning journey and see where the children’s questions and discoveries lead us.

Child Safety Matters Everyday at Nido 🤍
Last night, our team at Nido Early School Moonee Valley came together for our regular team meeting where we reflected deeply on child safety and explored ways we can continue to make every child feel safe, secure, and supported within our environment.
Together, alongside our Executive Service Manager Jehan and our Curriculum Leader Kunal we engaged in meaningful discussions and worked through a variety of real-life child safe scenarios, allowing us to reflect, challenge our thinking, and strengthen our practices as a team.
At Nido, child safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to continuously learn, grow, and work collaboratively to create environments where every child feels heard, valued, and protected. 🤍
