This was an impromptu challenge for myself.

Getting strength-mogged by my 3yo son.

You'll want the sound on for this one.

Each Tuesday my youngest boy and I have 20ish minutes between picking him up and going to pick up my oldest boy. These 20 minutes have turned into our workout time.

Sure, he's already stronger than me, but isn't that what's it's all about?

As parents, we set the example and one day they will surpass us - although I was a little surprised to be surpassed so quickly.

Our children are our biggest motivation and reason to want more for ourselves, because we want them to want more for themselves.

When you get out of the city and don't know where to look first.

We just got home from our annual winter trip into the Tasmanian mountains at Mt Field National Park. Each year the family and I head up to spend a few nights in an unpowered cabin and hope for a blizzard. We didn't have a blizzard this year, but we had plenty of icey fun!

We spent lots of time going on bush adventures, tending the fire, and all around just enjoying family time without any electronic distractions.

A lot of time was spent hauling kids on my shoulders, packing gear, splitting wood, and hiking around. Just your general outdoor fun that requires being STRONG for Life.

Remember, the gym doesn't have to be your whole life, but it should set you up to live the live you want. That's what it means to be Strong for Life.

Simple exercises to build your hand strength for grappling.

Hand strength is important for all demographics. You use your hands to interact with the world, and having strong hands helps you do that.

Strong hands and wrists are also essential to controlling your opponent and preventing small joint injuries if you're involved with grappling and BJJ.

Save this for future reference.

If you want more clarity on some of the movements, just drop a comment.
