It was such a special experience having the opportunity to learn, play and share the energy of taiko together with Japanese Taiko Master Makoto Sekine. Thank you to everyone who brought their enthusiasm, energy and big drumming spirit! We hope you had an amazing time discovering the power, rhythm and joy of Taiko.

Taiko Drum performs the art of Japanese drumming, a powerful and dynamic style of percussion involving the whole body in the musical performance. The Hobart-based taiko group (Taiko Drum Tas Inc.) has been performing for over 20 years at a wide range of festivals, community and private events.
